How to Keep Your Turf Looking Its Best
A few minutes a month adds years to your lawn.
Keep It Clean
Rinse dust, pollen and debris regularly. For light dirt, mix a teaspoon of mild detergent with a pint of hot water, sponge mop and rinse. For tougher stains like spills or pet messes, use a 3% ammonia solution followed by a thorough rinse.
Periodic Brushing
Brush against the grain with a synthetic-bristle brush to restore appearance and prevent matting. Weekly for high-traffic areas, monthly for low-traffic areas.
Preventing Odors
Pet owners should rinse pet areas weekly and use an artificial grass deodorizer. Clean up waste and debris first.
Hot Weather
In South Florida heat, a quick spray with cool water lowers the surface temperature for people and pets.
Weed Control
Inspect edges and seams for weeds and remove them by hand or with a spot herbicide safe for artificial turf.
Infill Maintenance
Check infill levels periodically, top up low spots following the manufacturer's recommendations, and brush it in to prevent compaction.
Preventing Compaction
Move furniture periodically and redistribute infill to prevent permanent indentations.
Repairing Damage
Small tears can be patched with turf adhesive and a spare piece. Larger damage may require professional repair.

Schedule professional maintenance at least once a year for inspection, deep cleaning and treatments.
